Olympics flag will be waved in Mt. Everest!!!



Nepal is also the going to be the part of inaugural of London Olympics which is going to be started after four months. For the inaugral of the olympics, it has been decided that the flag of Olympics will be waved on the TOP OF THE WORLD: MT. EVEREST. For this, Mountaineer Furba Sherpa has got the responsibility to wave the flag.


Furba has already climbed Mt Everest for 19 times, and he is going to climb Everest in May for the inaugural. It is reported in nagarik daily, Chief Media Officer Susan Crown said that to give a new way of starting to the olympics, this strategy has been formulated and implemented. According to Crown, two flags(one small and next large) are to be placed at the Everest.The small flag is to be palced in the Everest and the large flag is to be taken to the London for the opening. Tourism experts believe that this kind of exposure will enhance image of Nepal to the world.

Susan further said that the proposal came from London's Eton School's students and the organizer Britain approved it. The idea came from students below 15 years to celebrate the idea is a new way. She said "We liked the idea and approved it. It will help London Olympics to celebrate in a grand way"
The students have already arrived Kathmandu with the flag. According to British Embassy, the team arrived  thursday and have already flew to Lukla. Team had a photosesson with The Ambassador and the flag. After visiting Lukla, they will handover the flag to Furba Sherpa and he will take the flag to the top of  Mt. Everest.
London Olympics will start from 27th July and ends on August 12th. There has been a prediction of 500000 spectators to visit London.
